So here is the Editor's intro "crafted" for Project Contagion. It was quickly removed and unassociated with the anthology for two reasons that don't need to be explained. Except you don't know them so I will explain them anyway. First off, the anthology is a serious project, and this is pretty much random babbling that would in the end take away from the whole seriousness of the project.

Well, here it is:

--Oh hello! We didn't see you there. My that's a lovely hat you are wearing. It really brings out the color of your eyes. You're really pretty. Guess what. Give up? We got you a present. Close your eyes and we will give it to you. You can open your eyes now. So what do you think? I know it's not what you wanted, but this is even better. It's a book and it's filled with glorious stories for your reading pleasure. Well, you can read, can't you? We should have thought about that before we did this. We really do like your hat. Can we have it? You know, as a gift, like we got you. No. That's okay, we didn't need your stupid hat anyway. It makes your head look fat. No, keep the book. We don't need it back. It was a gift, you rat bastard.--

See my point about the seriousness and stuff, this totally wasn't serious. Except the part about your head looking fat, it still does. You should get that checked out.

Many people just know us 3 pitt guys as two possibly gay guys who make pornos with plastic spoons. Well here's something you didn't know about us.

A while back when the corporate tyrants behind Giavano's decided to remove tater tots from their menu, we took a stand and fought back. With the help of 50 other potato-side dish lovers we petitioned to get our tasty, deep fried golden nuggets back. They could not take the onslaught of outrage from angry customers and gave in to the peoples demands. Tater tots remain to this day on the Giavano's menu. That my friends is what this country is all about.

So I think we have all the edits done now for Contagion... right Dustin? Is that shit finished up yet? It probably is which means that all that is holding us up now is the cover stuff. So i should get to that soon, maybe tonight if I have an internet connection for more than 3 minutes at my place.

Oh on a serious side note. Dustin LaValley (co-editor of PC vol 1) came out of the closet today, it did not seem to phase his mother at all, she just continued to stare at the wall while eating some dudes brains. His dad on the other hand flipped out and you definitely don't want to see the amazing mustachio's bad side. He wrecked an entire wall of the house. Big Destruction. Hopefully Dustin is alright.

Finished up work on Project Contagion vol 1 tonight, since I got out of work due to power outage. Will be receiving a preview copy soon to exam for any last changes. It should be available shortly after.

Oh hey... um.... this is kind of awkward, huh? What's that? Oh yeah? That's good. Me? Well lets see, tonight I recorded some shit for Kieran, he's reworking some of the old Delta Sleep stuff, I guess. It came out pretty well..... ummmm...... oh, I got the 4th season of ATHF too. It's pretty funny. Not as funny as the face I just made though, you should have saw it. It was really funny but your just going to have to take my word on that. Sooo..... it was good seeing you again, we should really try to keep in touch more. I'll see you later dude.

Finished off the front cover for "Project Contagion" today. BOOM. Finished off the cover of Dustin's book "Pieces of People",(good stuff) coming out soon by Skull Vomit Press. BOOM. Received rejection notice for my story "Mexico". BOOM. All in all, it was a good day.

submission guidelines: Most interested in dark, subtle horror of 1500 words or less. Though exceptions may be made. Reprints are okay, but must be outstanding and author must hold copyright.

Themes unwanted: overly perverse, vampires, animal cruelty, zombie war stories, children in adult situations, and so on and so forth.

Submission must be pasted in the body of an email along with author name, word count, where previously published (if applies), and bio of 100 words or less.

No multiple or simultaneous submissions.

Payment to be pdf format of book.
